Shell and PGGM aim to bid for Dutch energy company Eneco: Reuters

Royal Dutch Shell and Dutch pension fund manager PGGM on Monday said they are investigating a joint offer for Dutch energy company Eneco [ENECO.UL].

The 53 municipalities that currently own Eneco, estimated by analysts to be worth about 3 billion euros ($3.4 billion), in December said they will sell the company through an auction later this year.
